Deeply structured and precisely detailed, offering compelling blackberry and brooding dark spice flavors, with flinty minerality that build toward well-buffed tannins.

-2020 Patrica Green Pinot Noir “Dollar Bills Only”, Willamette Valley, OR $16 Silky and elegantly layered, with rose petal, raspberry and orange peel accents that build richness on the long, lingering finish.  Great price!

-2018 Chers Julienas, Beaujolais, France $20
An array of fruits, from peach to raspberry and black currant, with a subtle touch of spice. Structured and powerful.

-2019 Stadt Krems Grüner Veltliner, Kremstal, Austria $17
Fresh-tasting with notes of green apple, lemon, radish, and arugula. Lighter style grüner veltliner intended for drinking now.

-2019 Malvirá Roero Arneis, Piedmont , Italy $16
Stone fruits and hints of melon before finishing with a zip of refreshing acidity. The finish is clean and long.

-2019 Viberti Nebbiolo, Langhe, Italy $20
Marked by ripe red fruit flavors, particularly cherries, and soft tannins. Viberti’s nebbiolo is a fresh expression of Piedmont’s signature varietal.  Mineral and stone undertones.

-2018 Owen Roe Cabernet Franc “Rosa Mystica”, Yakima Valley, WA $30
Aromas of dark plum and rich floral notes are enhanced with a mouthful of classic Cabernet Franc tannins, black pepper and licorice notes. A lovely mid-palate of candied fruit and blackberry preserves finishes with gripping acidity; a sign of great potential for cellaring over the next decade and beyond.
