A perfect summer quaffer for all occasions.  Plums, black cherries, liquorice, pepper.

-2005 Esporão Alentejo Reserva, Portugal $22  Some southern Rhone characteristics in this wine but still very Portuguese.  Earthy and rustic.  Savory and spicy finish.

-2007 Damilano Barbera d'Alba, Piedmont, Italy $15
Our new favorite barbeque wine. Flavorful and fruity with bright cherry and raspberry flavors.  Simply delicious.

2008 Syncline Subduction White, Columbia Valley, WA $18  (42% Chardonnay, 30% Roussanne, 28% Viognier) This wine shows the great finesse and delicacy of Chardonay that is the hallmark of Celilo Vineyard; coupled with the richness and elegance of Viognier from Coyote Canyon and Roussanne from Alder Ridge Vineyards.

-2007 Avignonesi Rosso di Montipulciano, Italy $15
Brilliant ruby red color, delicate aroma, with a distinct hint of ripe fruits, nice balanced taste, harmonious.

-2007 Andrieux & Fils Côtes du Rhône Villages, France $15
From the great 2007 vintage, this wine is produced from a blend of Grenache, which gives the wine its fullness and elegance, Syrah, for its complex aromatic palate and Mourvedre, which gives balance and delicacy. This old-vine blend offers black cherries, raspberries and licorice. Full bodied and fine, it delivers a long and complex finish.

-2007 Naches Heights Pinot Gris, Columbia Valley, Washington $12
Bright and juicy, with lemony green melon flavors.  Dry and quite savory.
