Hints of lemon, full bodied with good balance, acidity and complexity. -2008 Tenute Barone di Valforte Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Italy $16 Delicious red fruit aromas on the nose with a deep, full and harmonious palate and lingering finish. -2009 Naches Heights Riesling, Yakima Valley, Washington $12 This off-dry wine is full of passion fruit and tropical aromas and flavors, with crisp acidity. -2006 Confuron-Cotetidot Bourgogne Passetoutgrain, Burgundy, France $17 Gamay/pinot noir blend. Considering the price of Burgundy, this wine is a steal. Great salmon wine.

The 2008 Cooper Hill Pinot Noir, from Cooper Mountain Vineyards, is big and lush with cassis, dark berry fruit and floral components on the palate and nicely integrated round acidity on the finish. Made with organic and biodynamic grapes. Organic wine.
